Question
How does the speed button work? How is the fan speed adjusted?
Answer
Press the speed button repeatedly to switch between the following options:
1 (low speed)
2 (medium speed)
3 (high speed)
A (automatic speed)
In automatic mode (A), the device automatically adjusts the fan speed according to the difference between the current room humidity and the automatically defined target value.
The target humidity is set depending on the temperature:
Below 17 °C → 55%
17 °C to 23 °C → 50%
From 24 °C → 45%
If the room humidity is above the target value, the fan speed is regulated as follows:
Deviation of 1% to 10%: speed level 1
Deviation of 11% to 20%: speed level 2
Deviation of 21% or more: speed level 3
As soon as the room humidity is at least two percentage points below the target value, active dehumidification stops. The fan continues to run at speed level 1 for ten minutes and then switches off. If the humidity remains below the target value, the fan runs every 30 minutes for three minutes for monitoring purposes. If the humidity rises again to at least two percentage points above the target value, the device automatically resumes operation.
