Question
What should I consider when cleaning and maintaining the dehumidifier?
Answer
Always switch off the device and unplug it from the power outlet before starting any cleaning or maintenance work. If the device is not used for an extended period, it is advisable to unplug it from the power supply. Do not use chemical solvents (such as benzene, alcohol, or gasoline), as these can cause irreversible damage to the device.
Filter Cleaning
The air inlet can easily collect dust; please clean it frequently with a soft, damp cloth. If the filter is covered with dust, air circulation and the performance of the device will be impaired. This can even lead to damage to the dehumidifier. We recommend cleaning the filter regularly. The dehumidifier must be disconnected from the power supply before maintenance, and the filter must be completely dry before reuse.
Remove the filters from the device and tap off the dust.
Clean the air filter with a vacuum cleaner or a soft brush.
If dirt and grease have accumulated, wash the filter in hot soapy water.
Reinsert the filters in the position shown in the illustration below.

Optional HEPA Filter
You can purchase an optional HEPA filter. HEPA filters improve indoor air quality. Please install the HEPA filter between the filter frame and the air inlet, as shown in the illustration above. Replace the HEPA filter every 6 months or more frequently, depending on the environment and air quality. Never operate the device with clogged filters.
