How does direct drainage work?

This dehumidifier is equipped with a drain connection that can be connected to a plastic hose with an internal diameter of 12 mm (not included). The water can be automatically drained into a sink, drain, larger container or through the wall to the outside. Please follow these steps to set up your appliance for direct drainage:

1. Remove the water tank.
2. Connect a water hose (with an internal diameter of 12 mm) to the drain connection and ensure that the connection is tight. * Please note that the water hose is not supplied with the appliance. 
3. Reinsert the water tank into the device.

Ensure that the water hose is pointing downwards so that the water can drain evenly. Do not kink or bend the hose.
