Question

Why is water leaking from the dehumidifier?

Answer

If water is leaking from the dehumidifier, there may be several reasons for this:

  1. The appliance is not level: Check that the dehumidifier is standing on a level and stable surface.
  2. The float is blocked: Check that the float in the water tank can move freely. Clean it if necessary.
  3. The unit is dirty: Dirt can obstruct the water drainage. Switch off the unit, unplug it and clean the accessible areas in accordance with the user manual. The pre-filter must be regularly cleaned of dust, whether using a microfibre cloth, a vacuum cleaner or under the tap.

Important: Do not use the dehumidifier again until the cause has been rectified.
