ecoQ HumidAir U400 and U400+ - Water is leaking

Question:

Why is water leaking from my ecoQ HumidAir U400(+)?

Answer:

The small plastic wall on the float of the device is probably positioned incorrectly.  If the plastic wall has been inserted the wrong way round, this blocks the float and the water simply flows in an uncontrolled manner and then overflows at some point. The plastic wall must therefore be straightened.
