What should I keep in mind when installing the Hot Air Stop? How do I install it?

Answer

	Please read the instruction manual carefully before installing the product to avoid damage caused by improper use. As the exhaust air hose from your portable air conditioner runs through your window, this leaves it open – to heat and insects. Save energy through optimal air circulation: this practical window seal now closes this opening, thereby solving your problems. The efficient seal prevents air exchange, thereby enabling a lower room temperature. Compatible with all portable air conditioners, the flexible zip adapts to all hose sizes. You can still open and close the window. Made from a special washable fabric and fitted with two zips, you can adjust the opening of the seal to fit your exhaust hose perfectly.
	1. Mark the centre (M) of the window seal.
	2. Mark the centre of the window frame and the window sash. Figure 2 shows the window in the open position.
	3. Stick the Velcro mounting tape to the front edge (usually 1 cm wide) of the window sash or to the inside of the window sash (where the window handle is located). Note: Figure A shows a tilted window and Figure B shows an open roof window.
	4. Attach the window seal. Starting from the center: First attach side A. Then attach side B. Continue fastening the seal completely to the left and right. Make sure that point A is positioned directly opposite point B.
	5. Insert the exhaust hose. Preferably open the zipper at the positions marked (S) and insert the exhaust hose through the opening.
