Question

My new ecodry Neptun rattles and seems to be much louder than it should be. Where is this coming from and can I fix it myself?

Answer

It can occasionally happen that a copper pipe touches the inside of the housing when the appliance is being transported. This causes an unpleasant, loud rattling noise. If you are not sure about this, the first thing you can do is contact our customer service department to clarify the issue: contact ecofort.

If the suspicion now hardens or is confirmed by customer service that it could be coming from this copper pipe and you want to avoid sending it back, the problem can be solved in a few simple steps:

Firstly, the 13 screws on the rear panel must be removed using a Phillips screwdriver.
Once the rear panel has been removed, a copper pipe can be seen on the right-hand side.
If this touches the housing, as shown in the photo, it can be carefully pushed to the left by hand so that there is a gap of approx. 3-5 mm between the tube and the side panel.

The rear panel can then be refitted. The loud rattling should now be gone. However, if it is still present, we will be happy to assist you.
