Swiss Post also transports unpackaged goods without any problems. This is called bulky goods. Addressing and delivery are the same as for normal parcels.

Whether it's an office chair, a carcass or a lamp - sending bulky goods with Swiss Post is easy. This is because bulky goods can generally be transported unpackaged. But if the goods have to be protected, they need packaging. Swiss Post can refuse liability for scratches and dents on unpackaged items. Otherwise, the same liability rules apply as for normal parcels. Bulky goods items are also transported at the same rate as normal parcels.

Addressing bulky goods

Bulky goods shipments do not require a delivery note or similar, a simple parcel label with the recipient's address is sufficient. Depending on the surface of the item, the sender simply sticks the address label on it or uses an attachment label.
