Question

What should be considered for long-term storage?

Answer

If the device will not be used for several weeks or longer, clean it thoroughly and allow it to dry completely. Then store it as follows:

1. Press the power button to switch off the device and unplug it from the power outlet.

2. Drain any remaining water from the device.

3. Clean the filter and allow it to dry completely in the shade.

4. Arrange the power cord around the water tank.

5. Reinsert the filter into its original position.

6. The device must be kept in an upright position during storage.

7. Store the device indoors in a dry, well-ventilated, non-corrosive, and safe environment.

Note: Before storing the device, ensure that the internal evaporator is completely dry to prevent mold growth and damage.

• Option 1: After unplugging, place the device in a dry, open space for several days to allow it to air-dry naturally.
• Option 2: While the device is still switched on, set the target humidity at least 5% higher than the ambient humidity. This keeps the fan running to dry the evaporator over several hours.
