What do I need to bear in mind when cleaning and maintaining my dehumidifier?

 | 1. Disconnect the device from the mains Switch off the device and unplug it from the mains before cleaning it. |
 | 2. Clean the housing Clean the housing with a soft, dry cloth. If it is very dirty, use a mild cleaning agent. Wipe the dehumidifier with a slightly damp cloth. Never spray the device with water. |
 | 3. Remove and clean the filter Remove the filter and clean it with a vacuum cleaner or soapy water that is no hotter than 40°C. |
 | 4. Rinse the filter and leave it to dry Rinse the filter and leave it to dry completely before putting it back into the device. |
