No! The HEPA filter should only be removed from the appliance to dispose of it. The filters are neither washable nor heatable, both of which could damage the fine fibres and thus reduce their effectiveness. In addition, we would advise against placing the dirty filter in an oven (constantly circulating air) where you make your food in it and distributing the contents... even if viruses are killed in the process. 


The safest thing to do is to leave the filter in the appliance until it dies. The viruses don't have legs and can't get out of the filter because they get stuck and die on their own after a while. You don't have to put them in the oven for that. By the way, this is also not recommended for masks.
