Oasis D260 ECO - Check overflow protection

Modified on Sat, 12 Apr at 11:36 PM

Procedure:

Take out the water tank and press up the trigger.

The overflow works correctly when the fan switches off and the indicator light on the front lights up.

If the appliance does not switch off when the click of the switch is heard, the overflow protection is not working and the appliance must be repaired.

Important:

When inserting the water tank, you must now make sure that the float is under the wire of the trigger / switch and that the two wires do not get tangled in each other.

Note:

If the unit switches off too late, i.e. the water tank is practically full to the brim with water or the water is even overflowing, then you could carefully bend the wire of the trigger/switch downwards. However, it should not really be necessary to do this, as it is already set from the factory and cannot adjust itself.
